"Liz is so knowledgeable and experienced! She was SO helpful for us when our 25-month old suddenly started refusing – kicking and screaming – to sit on the potty a few months into the Oh Crap method. She listened carefully to details about my daughter and her behavior and quickly provided us with two pieces of advice that made a difference almost immediately. At one point during a tantrum Liz even called me and walked me through some words and techniques to use with my daughter. Thank you so much, Liz!"

"Liz saved our potty training journey. I was ready to quit and I saw that she had helped another mom with similar issues. After a day of waiting for responses to my frantic emails to consultants, Liz called me immediately when I said HELP. She talked me off the ledge and gave me the direction I desperately needed. Not only did it get potty training back on track in exactly the time frame she said it would, her advice has helped me outline better boundaries at home for an overall better relationship with my toddler. She helped quell my fears with daycare and beyond. I’m so thankful for Liz, I owe so much of her progress to her!"

"Liz was such a great help training my 28 month old. She provided helpful insight and guidance when I needed support or felt like I was failing. Sometimes all you need is a to hear someone tell you you're doing a good job or to tell you to change one word in how you approach potty training and Liz did that for me. It was so great to feel like I always had someone to talk to and that she would reassure me every step of the way that she is there to help me. Thanks Liz!!"

“Liz is a lifesaver!! I was 36 weeks pregnant when I decided to start potty training my 25 month old, so to say I was stressed about potty training is an understatement! When we hit a rough patch around day 3, I was desperate to figure out a solution. That’s when I asked Liz for help and WOW. I’m so glad I did because she helped so much! She listened to all of my concerns and had answers to all my questions. I implemented all of her recommendations and they worked wonders. My daughter was fully potty trained within that week and it has been amazing!”

"We would have given up on potty training our almost 2 year old if not for the help and guidance of Liz! She is amazing!! She is extremely helpful and full of knowledge. She is a must have resource in addition to the Oh Crap! method. She really listens to your concerns and frustrations. She is able to quickly and accurately spot the issue(s) and offer advice and guidance that is life changing! Can’t recommend Liz enough!! Thank you Liz! You rock!!!"

"Liz is amazing! She helped me at a time when no one else was able. She helped me teach my son how to poop. It was a struggle until Liz entered our journey. She has been there for us every step and provided knowledge and guidance. Her tips, tricks and tools have improved our potty habits. My son is no longer afraid and is not resistant to use the potty.
Liz can help your little one on their potty journey. She can help you maintain sanity too. She is wonderful to talk to when things get rough. I cannot thank her enough for how she helped my son"

"All it took was 4 very intense days for me to start doubting what I was absolutely certain my son was capable of doing. 4 days of staring at my 20 month old son’s naked booty. 4 days of a completely messed up house. 4 days of watching and waiting for pee or poop only to miss it the moment I turned around. 4 days of “I’ve totally got this, he can do it, and I’m killing it” quickly and out of no where turned into so much self doubt. I think I just needed a pep talk from someone who had been there before. But I also had a few very specific questions that I needed to bounce off of someone. So I asked Liz for some help. We spent 21 minutes on the phone and by the end of our conversation, my confidence was newly restored. She encouraged me that we were on the right track and she offered me the most practical advice. Day 5 was a complete turn around. Her tips were working and I was amazed. I'm so glad she spent the time with me because without her, I would have continued to get in my own way and my son’s successes would have come at a much slower pace. If you’re doubting yourself or the process I would highly recommend asking Liz for help. She’s absolutely worth it!"

"Potty training turned to be one of those things, I never knew would be so hard. My daughter was so scared to poop and I felt like she just wasn’t ready even though she was showing signs she was. Just when I felt like quitting, Liz provided
Me with the encouragement, and assurance I needed to push through. She lead me through the whole process, calmed my anxiety, and now I can say my daughter is potty trained."

I connected with Liz the day I literally planned to quit. We’d been potty training a couple weeks with ups and downs. The days before we talked, my son seemed to go out of his way to have accidents and disobey. I prayed that day—if god wanted me to continue I needed help. Then she posted about connecting with struggling parents. Wow!
Talking to her gave me confidence and a plan. I understood what to do to take charge and help my son turn a corner. Within a couple of weeks we were accident free, he stopped willfully resisting us once he realized we meant business (what I learned from Liz!). She recommended some other general parenting books that are helping me shift my parenting overall in ways that are super helpful for the toddler stage.
I couldn’t be more grateful. If we hadn’t talked I would’ve quit that day.

Potty training my second child went nowhere near as smooth as I had hoped it would be. She struggled for weeks to try and learn how to release her pee on the toilet, and Liz really helped coach me on ways to help her. In the end, we ended up deciding to do a reset- I did not have the mindset or energy to continue, and Liz helped me realize I was at the end of my rope.
I am super grateful for Liz's no-nonsense advice when I needed it most - there were several evenings she talked me down off the edge by analyzing my child's progress and making recommendations. When it became clear that the circumstances just weren't right, she was there to reassure me that all the work we had done was not all for nothing, and that doing a reset is not the same as starting from scratch again.
We have since resumed and it has been night and day! Potty training basically clicked right away after allowing the time for all of us to reset. It was the absolute BEST course of action, and without speaking to Liz I probably would not have allowed it. Thank you ❤️

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while, if anyone is looking for potty training help, look no further than Liz Hansen! She is AMAZING!!! My 3-year-old daughter was about to be kicked out of preschool for not being potty trained and I was at my wits end going in for a 3rd attempt. I had a phone consultation with Liz and she provided me with the skills I needed to get it done! I’m proud to say that my VERY strong willed and stubborn toddler is day/night time trained thanks to Liz. I cannot express my sincere gratitude enough and 100% recommend anyone looking for potty training assistance to set up a consultation with her.

Liz completely changed our lives! We were in total despair a few days into potty training when we found her. During a Zoom session pretty late at night, Liz had us describe our daughter and our potty training adventure so far, then she gave us advice tailored to our exact situation. We set specific times to sit on the potty, we decided to cut out rewards, and we talked a lot about setting boundaries. Starting the next morning, things were SO much better. The next four days saw a total of two accidents, and the whole family is happier and more confident. Thank you, Liz!!!!

"I started to potty train my son when he was 2 years 3 months old. I had read the Oh Crap! book and day 1 went great, but then things went off the rails on day 2 and I literally thought that my son was either not ready or that the method wasn't right for him. It might have been one of the worst moments of parenthood. Liz made herself available that night and we spoke AFTER MIDNIGHT (she is an actual saint!) and we spoke for over an hour and a half and she talked me off the ledge and gave me SO. MANY. AMAZING. POINTERS. And basically pointed out the few minor things that I needed to change in terms of my approach and I'm not kidding - the next day and each of the past 9 days since have honestly been some of my favorite days of being a mom. Asher is totally crushing this method and we're about to enter the underwear block this weekend (woohoooo!), and I not only have so much pride, but it's also bringing me so much joy to see how proud he is of himself. Liz was available for me for several days after that first call and has really given me so many tips to make this process seamless - and also has given so many good parenting tips as well. I'm not kidding when I say this, if it weren't for my call with Liz, I literally would have put my son back into diapers that next morning and would have scrapped the whole process. And now, 9 short days later, I have a child who can go to the playground, swim class, car rides, etc without a diaper, who has gained so much confidence and is so so so happy! If you are having ANY doubts about the process - whether it's right, whether your child is ready - PLEASE do not give up before speaking with Liz. I promise, it'll be the best money you've ever spent and worth every penny!!!"

“We love Liz!! Potty training our 2.5 year old was an overwhelming idea since we just had a new baby, yet completely necessary. I needed ongoing support, step by step, to be confident and committed to the task. Liz was our rock. She coached us through step by step; from a planning meeting to daily check in’s. And guess what??? We were potty trained in just 12 days. We will be back for night time training when we are ready. I recommend Liz wholeheartedly because she is extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient and so reliable. She is there for you … I kept pushing through (and didn’t give up) knowing I had the amazing support I needed to do this!”.

"Working with Liz was just what we needed. I had a couple false starts with potty training, was dealing with major resistance and conflicting information from books and even our pediatrician. Liz gave us a schedule that created the format we needed to get back on track. At her suggestion we ultimately used a suppository to get the first poop in the potty in over three months and from there, we've had a long string of success. Parenting/potty training wasn't meant to be done in isolation. It's wonderful to have a resource like Liz!"

"Liz is truly a life saver. While potty training our 21 month old, we were feeling defeated, overwhelmed, and were on the edge of giving up on potty training. Liz stepped in and turned everything around. Together, we decided to do a reset, then she guided us through each step of the process and helped us recognize where we went wrong the first time around. She provided logical solutions to several road-blocks we were experiencing, and made us feel confident and equipped to handle any scenarios that may arise in the future. She was honest and direct when it was needed, but always patient, kind and uplifting. From the first time we spoke, I felt like I was talking to a friend. I can never thank her enough for helping us."
